The company aims to create a continuously updated evidence base that supports teachers, school leaders, and intervention developers in making informed choices backed by the best available data.
To achieve its mission, WhatWorked focuses on the innovative use of small-scale mini-randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and aggregates the data from these trials into a cumulative meta-analysis evidence base. This method is both time-efficient and cost-effective, overcoming the traditional barriers of high costs and long timescales associated with educational research.
